What are important common interests that promote friendship? At church the other day a friend was trying to find someone to talk to about a recent amazing game of ice hockey on TV. He could not find anyone who was interested. If we have an interest or hobby we like to discuss ongoing developments with other interested people. It is nice that the other people are compatible with us in general but the main thing is that they are interest in the event that we are fired up about. A general interest in the hobby and the fact that they have seen the particular event in important.
